My Sister and I purchased a beautiful show horse in Sep 2008, Tom, however we were not worried about his bloodlines or show history (qualified for several Royals and had several AG championships), just that he was a nice bomb proof horse after I lost confidence.
My sister knew of him for a few years through our cousin. So we purchased him and he soon became King over all our horses. My mother nick-named him "our peeping tom" as he spent time around our house and when you left his sight he would trot around to find you and if he thought we had gone inside he would go under our veranda and look through our windows.
He turned heads when we took him to pony club, (as he was only one of two horses of such quality and looks at our Pony Club of over 30 horses). I researched his sire and dam and found your website and could see that Tom was a resemblance of his sire Penmarric Killarney. His dam Trinket of Beckworth. I happened to notice that Penmarric’s Dam was: Beaufield Shariya.
It was then that we realized that Tom was related to my sister’s horse she had when she was younger Beaufield Helawi. Beaufield Shariya and Beaufield Helawi were by the same sire ARABIAN PARK DESERT RULER. Similarities in Tom and Helawi’s nature could be seen.
We were to start his show career in 2009 but we sadly lost Tom a week before Christmas 2008 by Spasmodic Colic after he suffer heart failure after surgery at the Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital.
He was such a lovely horse that will never be forgotten. And one day would love to own another horse as special as him.
